Thank you for visiting and shopping at KaboomZ Baby and Kids. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute the Shipping, Returns and Refunds Policies.
KaboomZ takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
★ Courier (door-to-door delivery): Our courier partners can deliver your order to your door anywhere in South Africa! You must supply a full physical address where you or someone will be available to receive your parcel. KaboomZ assumes no liability for orders shipped to incomplete or incorrect shipping addresses supplied by the customer. Any additional fees for such orders will be the responsibility of the customer.
★ After receiving your orders, we pack them and hand the orders to the couriers. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays as our couriers delivers from Monday to Friday. All orders are processed within 1 to 7 business days. Most orders are in stock and ready to be delivered within 1-5 working days, and in extreme cases, it may take up to 7 working days for your package to reach you.
★ If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a significant delay in shipment of order, we will contact you via email.
★ We have partnered with top courier companies to offer you the best delivery service possible. Delivery costs is a flat rate of R100.00 for shipping anywhere in South Africa.
★ Payments are done by EFT. Orders will only be dispatched once payment reflects and has cleared in our bank account.
★ We do offer free shipping for orders over R1000.00 for all areas. Free shipping and courier rates are subject to change at any time.
***We do not deliver by courier to plots, farms, mines, military bases, major chain stores, power stations, game reserves and lodges, airports, or harbours, and should your delivery address fall into one of these categories you will be liable for the extra costs incurred in delivering or returning the parcel. We currently do not offer international deliveries, or deliveries to P.O. Boxes, and Post net branches.
KaboomZ may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
KaboomZ wants you to be happy with your purchase from us.
If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us, and we will either repair/replace it or issue a voucher depending on the reason for the return of the item.
Once you receive your order, you have 7 days to return the product to us, and we will either repair/replace it or issue a voucher depending on the reason for the return of the item. Kindly note the following:
★ The actual product needs to be received back at KaboomZ in the original condition (unless it has been received damaged, faulty, or incorrect).
★ If the product’s outer packaging is unsealed, we may charge you a 15% handling fee.
★ Please include your order number and contact details inside the returned parcel.
★ All games, electronics, baby items, toys, health, or beauty products need to be returned unopened/unsealed.
Faulty Products:
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return or exchange:
★ Faults resulting from normal wear and tear,
★ Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product,
★ Damage arising from electrical surges, water damage or sea air corrosion,
★ Damage arising from a failure to care for the product,
★ Damage arising from unauthorized alterations or changes to the product,
★ Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.
★ If you return a faulty or unwanted product to us, but you fail to return all the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled to (subject to applicable law) to refuse the return.
Products broken/damaged/missing any parts or accessories during shipping OR I have a courier delay!
Unfortunately, this does happen from time to time, and we take great care to pack orders as securely as possible, but the couriers are sometimes not as careful as they should be.
★ KaboomZ is not liable for any products broken/damaged/missing any parts or accessories during shipping. If you received your order broken/damaged/missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery, please notify us within 24 hours and contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
★ KaboomZ cannot be held liable for any courier delays beyond our control such as hi-jackings, vehicle accidents, national disasters, extreme weather conditions, delivery errors, courier services & supplier delays.
*Regardless of the reason for the delay, we will do our best to help you as best we can and endeavour to inform you as soon as we know of any impending delays.
Problem with your delivery:
Please get in touch with us by email on the Contact us – KaboomZ form or reply to any of the emails we sent you and state the nature of your issue. We will do what we can do resolve it as quickly as possible. Please note, however, that our courier partners are independent from us and so we have no direct control over them. In a lot of cases our couriers will get in touch with you directly to sort the problem out (which is quicker).
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange, credit, or refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
★ Personally inspect packaging and note any damage on the receiving ticket before signing for it. If you have not opened the packages, please write the words “unchecked” next to your name.
★ Please report any shortages or damages within 24 hours from the date of receiving your merchandise in writing via email. Please explain the problem or defect and include any photographs if possible so that we may best assist you. It may be that only a replacement part is required instead of shipping the complete product back to us, which will be issued at our own discretion.
★ All merchandise is inspected before despatch and, should it be returned, will be inspected upon arrival at our end. Any returned items must be in the original condition with packaging and literature intact or in suitable similar packaging. Please enclose a copy of the original invoice and a letter stating the reason for return. Please email us first to advise us about the defect, should you wish to return goods with defects or that have been damaged in transit. Please do not write on the box or deface the product packaging.
★ Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We’ll also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
★ If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
★ If it is subsequently found that the returned merchandise is not defective or damaged, the customer will be liable for all shipping costs.
★ KaboomZ will not be held liable to replace dead batteries in products and the onus is on the client to replace batteries regularly on the electronic products. Exchanges will not made for products with dead batteries.
★ All guarantees are immediately null, and void should any equipment or product be tampered with or should the seals on it be broken by anyone, or should there be any signs of abuse, or should the goods be operated outside the Manufacturers specifications.
★ The provision of goods and services by KaboomZ is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, KaboomZ will refund the client in full within a certain number of days.
Additional non-returnable items:
★ Gift cards,
★ Downloadable software products,
★ Some health and personal care items,
★ Products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
★ Items with obvious signs of use,
★ Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error,
★ Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
*Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
★ It happens sometimes when a product is on order, is OUT OF STOCK, we will fulfil the rest of the order and contact you to exchange, credit or refund the item out of stock.
★ You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
★ Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
★ If you are shipping an item over R 850, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item.
